Nursing Facility Capital Data Survey Submissions

The nursing facility Fair Rental Value (FRV) rates that became effective April 1st reflected the renovations and bed changes submitted on the Capital Data Surveys that were due on December 31, 2021.  Once the modernized FRV system is approved, it will be implemented retroactively and past rates will be adjusted the reflect the updated system.  

All nursing facilities are encouraged to review the Capital Data Survey information that was recorded by the state and confirm its accuracy.  The information file can be found at https://medicaid.ncdhhs.gov/cds-aging-schedule-2021xlsx-0/open.  This data file includes information from the 2020 and 2021 FRV reporting periods.  if you notice any discrepancies after reviewing this information, please send this information to Sam Clark at samc@nchcfa.org.
