More Information on the Recently Enacted Bonus Program for Direct Care Workers

Last week in UPDATE we mentioned that the recently adopted state budget included $133 Million for a program to provide one-time bonuses of approximately $2,000 to eligible direct care workers in North Carolina. To help explain this program, given what we know at this point, we have prepared a memorandum to provide a more detailed explanation that may be helpful in sharing news of this program with your employees.
