November 4 Deadline to Submit Your Nominations for the 2023 NCHCFA Awards

The nomination deadline for the NCHCFA Annual Awards is Friday, November 4. Acknowledge front-line, unlicensed personnel who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in the long-term care profession by nominating them today   

Award Categories:   

  • Nurse Aide of the Year: Five winners, one from each of NCHCFA’s five geographic districts. 
  • Direct Care Worker of the Year: One winner selected from a non-nursing discipline will receive the Riley W. Clapp Outstanding Service Award.

Submit a nomination by Friday, November 4.   

Criteria: 
Only one staff member per discipline may be nominated from a facility. The nominee must not be a previous winner. Only unlicensed personnel may be nominated. The nominee must have a minimum of five years of service in the long-term care profession.   

What Winners Can Expect:
Each of the award recipients will be honored at the Annual Awards Gala during the 2023 Convention & Expo in Greensboro, NC (February 19-22). Winners and a representative from their facility are expected to attend the Gala held in their honor. A video highlighting their achievements and facility will be shown. Winners will be asked to participate in a short video shoot at their facility prior to the event. The nominator will be asked to read a script for the video.
