PDPM ACADEMY IN-PERSON TRAINING PRE-REQUISITE WEBINARS FOR ATTENDEES |
For those members registered for the PDPM Academy and in-person training on March 26th, 2019 in Greensboro, NC, it is critical that you watch the pre-requisite Webinars in advance so you will get the most value out of the in-person training. In order for the in-person training to be effective and meaningful to participants, it is imperative that registered providers watch a series of Webinars in advance. PDPM Academy Trainers will assume participants have watched six pre-recorded Webinars to ensure they have foundational PDPM knowledge for a hands-on workshop experience. Because the pre-recorded Webinars are in short increments, Academy participants may watch as they have time rather than watching a single long Webinar. Webinar Topics: 1) PDPM Academy Workshop – What to Expect (5 minutes) How to Access the Pre-Requisite Webinars: SNF Provider Members can access the Pre-Requisite Webinars at https://educate.ahcancal.org/p/pdpmpre-reqs. These Webinars are available now to AHCA provider members and will not require a state registration list to access. Members can login with their AHCA username and password to access (same one you use for www.ahcancal.org). Any issues with login should be directed to educate@ahca.org for assistance. |
REGISTER TODAY FOR THE NEW NCHCFA LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE – APRIL 8-9, 2019 |
Join your colleagues for NCHCFA’s new Legislative Conference, April 8-9, 2019 in Raleigh, NC. Stay informed, take action, and be a part of the solution. Register here today and let’s send a powerful message of unity on behalf of our state’s skilled nursing community! Click here to make your overnight reservations. Rooms will be released on Monday, March 25th. |
APRIL FAIR RENTAL VALUE RATE ADJUSTMENT |
Each April 1st, the Fair Rental Value portion of the nursing facility rates are adjusted to reflect updated market data, as well as items submitted on the Capital Data Surveys. Prior to the release of the rates, providers are encouraged to review the posted Capital Data Survey information to make sure that it is reflective of the information that was submitted. The state record of the Capital Data Survey submissions can be found at https://medicaid.ncdhhs.gov/documents/nursing-home-aging-schedules. If you do spot a discrepancy, providers may contact Katrina Brown, NC Medicaid Financial Analyst at (919) 527-7625. |
