NCHCFA Member UNC Rex Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center of Raleigh hosted Congressman Wiley Nickel

NCHCFA Member UNC Rex Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center of Raleigh hosted Congressman Wiley Nickel (NC-13) for a visit and discussion on September 5.  Representatives of UNC Rex Rehabilitation, lead by Administrator Ginger Baker, leaders from UNC Health Care, and NCHCFA President & CEO Adam Sholar discussed the challenges currently facing member nursing facilities and the catastrophic effect the recently proposed minimum staffing rule would have on North Carolina nursing facilities.  Congressman Nickel offered his heartfelt thanks for the conversation, as well as the hard work of the caregivers at UNC Rex Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center of Raleigh.
