NURSING FACILITIES IN “RED” OR “YELLOW” ZONE COUNTIES SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED THEIR BINAXNOW COVID-19 TESTS

Nursing facility operators who believe they are qualified to receive Abbott BinaxNOW COVID-19 rapid tests, but have not yet received them should email the Department of Health and Human Services at a specified address, the agency announced. Assistant Secretary Adm. Brett Giroir said that “all operators in counties designated as ‘red’ or ‘yellow’ under the federal COVID-19 prevalence grading system should have received a shipment,” and “those who have not may email the agency at hhsbinax@hhs.gov, he continued.”
