Sunsetting of Temporary COVID-19 Flexibilities for Nursing Facilities

As communicated in SPECIAL BULLETIN COVID-19 #237: Extension of NC State of Emergency Temporary Flexibilities, multiple COVID-related flexibilities are set to sunset on June 30, 2022.  A summary of those applicable to nursing facilities are shown below with their corresponding ending date.  Even though the chart shows billing for telehealth has been made into a permanent rule, this is in error and the ability for SNFs to bill Medicaid for telehealth will end on June 30^th.
