CINDY DEPORTER, NC DHSR – NINTH ANNUAL NCHCFA VIRTUAL SUMMER SYMPOSIUM SPEAKER OF THE WEEK

The ninth annual Summer Symposium originally scheduled for August 5-7, 2020 at the Embassy Suites Resort at Kingston Plantation, Myrtle Beach, SC will now be held virtually. The Summer symposium will be a combination of live and on-demand sessions, allowing attendees to participate in the summer convention at their own pace and on their own time schedule. Live programs will be held over four days, August 4 & 6, and 11 & 13.

Cindy Deporter, MSSW, State Agency Director, NC Division of Health Service Regulation (NC DHSR), will provide a live in-depth review of the survey process and additional important details that have occurred over the past six months. There will be time for questions and discussion during the program. You do not want to miss this informative program!

Ms. Deporter was appointed as State Agency Director of DHSR in May of 2016. Since 2013 she has also served as the Acting Assistant Section Chief of the Acute and Home Care Section. She is also the Manager for the Quality Evaluative Systems Nursing Home Section, which is responsible for training, Internal Dispute Resolution, Civil Money Penalty Grants, and Independent Internal Dispute Resolution.
