Important Medicaid Contacts

During the Reimbursement Update session at our recent convention, Sam Clark shared several important Medicaid contacts for various issues.  It was felt that these were important enough to remind all of our member facilities of these valuable contacts.  

• Medicaid rate issues should be emailed to  Medicaid.ProviderReimbursement@dhhs.nc.gov  
• Provider inquiries, concerns, complaints regarding health plans should be emailed to Medicaid.ProviderOmbudsman@dhhs.nc.gov or you may call (866)304-7062  
• The state has also set up an email address for providers with questions on Medicaid managed care.  It is Medicaid.transformation@dhhs.nc.gov
