NC CareGivers logo

The NC CareGivers program has several updates from the fourth quarter of 2022:

  • As of January 11, 236 skilled nursing facilities, 55 community colleges and 13 proprietary schools have registered to participate in the NC CareGivers program.
  • As of December 31, 1,387 Nurse Aid I students and 102 Nurse Aide I Refresher students have participated in the program. There are currently 249 students enrolled and 118 students have completed their program.
  • There are four students with hiring or employment information entered in our database. If you employed an NC CareGivers participant, please enter their information in the Qualtrics system. The SNF How-To Video will assist you in the process.
  • The NC CareGivers program is offering several free webinars. Click here for more information.

NC CareGivers is proud to partner with North Carolina’s skilled nursing facilities to address the critical shortage of nurse aides in our state. The overall goal of the NC CareGivers Program is to add at least 4,000 new nurse aides to work in skilled nursing facilities by the end of the three-year grant.
