Winter Weather Preparedness Week for North Carolina is December 3-9

While it does not feel like winter temperatures this week, winter weather could be just around the corner any time during the next few months. Remember, it only takes ONE storm to make an impact in your community. Preparedness week is a way to reinforce what one should do to prepare for each winter season. While the winter outlook is predicting above normal temperatures overall, we still need to prepare for possible stretches of cold air which may include snow or ice events.
