COVID FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE FOR ADULT CARE HOMES

For the past several months, we have been publishing articles detailing the financial assistance available for nursing facilities.  NCHCFA wants to make sure that providers also understand some of the COVID financial assistance designed for adult care homes.

Special Bulletin COVID-19 #82 details the rate increase for nursing facilities as well as the rate increase and hours increase for Medicaid PCS beneficiaries.  This bulletin can be read by clicking here.

NC DHHS Division of Social Services has implemented “a one-time payment to facilities who accept State-County Special Assistance. Each eligible facility shall receive an amount equal to one thousand three hundred twenty-five dollars ($1,325) for each resident of the facility who is a recipient of State-County Special Assistance between March 10, 2020 through July 30, 2020.  To read additional details on this payments, click here.
