LTC Supervisor Skill Building Webinar Series on May 15, 22, 29, and June 5 

Targeted towards Department Heads/Supervisors, Administrators, DONs, and Administrative Nurses, the series is designed to elevate your skills as a leader in the long-term care (LTC) industry. Whether you’re an experienced supervisor or just starting in this role, this series will equip you with essential tools to excel in LTC management as an administrator, team leader, or department supervisor.  

ICD-10-CM Coding Refresher for SNFs Webinar Workshop on May 23 from 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  

This workshop is designed for Administrators, DONs, Assistant Director of Nursing, Nurse Managers, Nursing staff and leaders, Quality Assurance Director, Medical Records, MDS staff, and Therapy staff. This program will include information regarding the Official ICD-10 Coding Guidelines, best practices for accurate ICD-10-CM code assignment, how to avoid common coding mistakes, and the importance of principal diagnosis identification. Attendees should bring their current ICD-10 coding book to the training as the training will include coding exercises and scenarios where the coding book will be used.  

5-Star Work Plans Webinar Workshop on May 30 from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.   

This workshop for Administrators, DONs, and other Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) members will focus on exploring the three domains of the CMS 5-Star Quality Rating System: Health Inspections, Staffing, and Quality Measures, as well as a review of the SNF QRP program. You will learn how the health inspection, staffing, quality measure, and overall rating is calculated. Tips on how to analyze your data and develop plans to achieve 5-Star status will be discussed, along with application of the elements of QAPI to improve facility 5-Star Ratings.
