NC CareGivers Update

The registration of new NC CareGiver student participants ended on February 29. However, there are still 3,140 Nurse Aid I students and 214 Nurse Aide I Refresher students that have registered to participate in the program.  

Anyone who signed up prior to the cutoff and has a NC CareGivers ten-digit student ID number is still eligible for their tuition and testing reimbursement by participating SNFs and the $500 retention bonus after six months of employment.    

If you have employed a participant and have not entered their employment information into the Qualtrics System, please do. Instructions are available in the NC Caregivers Employer Process Guide. You will be able to enter information into the system until April 30. A special thanks to Hanna Crum, Healthcare Administrator, and Kristie Catlin, Director of Human Resources, at Pennybryn for employing and entering hiring information on 25 of our NC CareGiver participants.
