NCHCFA Leadership Institute for Long-Term Care

The NCHCFA Institute for Long Term Care (LTC) Leaders is now accepting applications for the 2027 class, and we’re looking for the next generation of leaders ready to elevate their impact on North Carolina’s long-term care profession. This dynamic, high-impact leadership experience is designed to challenge, inspire, and equip emerging leaders with the tools, confidence, and connections needed to take their leadership skills — and the quality of care they support — to the next level. Applications are due by Friday, March 13, so now is the time to step forward and invest in your leadership journey.

Modeled after the American Health Care Association’s Future Leaders program, the Institute selects a small cohort of passionate NCHCFA members who demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to advancing the profession. The year-long program kicks off with an engaging two-day leadership symposium featuring interactive training, practical leadership development, goal setting, and a deep dive into NCHCFA’s work and impact. Participants receive curated leadership resources, build meaningful professional relationships, and stay engaged with NCHCFA leadership throughout the program — culminating in a graduation celebration at the Annual Convention & Expo, where participants may present to the broader membership.
