Happy National Skilled Nursing Care Week
NCHCFA would like to extend a Happy National Skilled Nursing Care Week (NSNCW) to all our members. Even though NSNCW is celebrated from May 12-18, we thank you for all your hard work and dedication every week of the year.
Check out our LinkedIn page for special messages from NCHCFA President & CEO Adam Sholar and NCHCFA Board of Directors Chair Paul Babinski.
“This week, we recognize the dedicated individuals who are essential to long term care—our staff and caregivers,” said Mark Parkinson, President and CEO of the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). “They consistently exceed our expectations by ensuring that those in their care receive not only the necessary support but also the respect and dignity they deserve. I encourage everyone to participate in this week’s events, visit your local care centers, and express your gratitude to these remarkable people who diligently care for our community members.”
Established by AHCA in 1967, NSNCW starts each year on Mother’s Day and encourages skilled nursing care centers around the country to host a variety of events that shine a light on the individuals who reside, work, and volunteer in nursing centers while adhering to infection control requirements.
