Final Chance to Register for the 2026 Fall Symposium 

Registration is coming to a close for the NCHCFA Annual Fall Symposium on August 31 – September 2 at the Wilmington Convention Center in Wilmington, NC.  

The keynote speaker this year is Parker Byrd, a former ECU Baseball Player and Professional Speaker. He kicks off the Fall Symposium on Monday, August 31 with Doing Different Differently. 

In 2022, just after starting his collegiate baseball career, Parker survived a life-altering boating accident that resulted in the amputation of his right leg below the knee. Refusing to let adversity define his future, he worked tirelessly through rehabilitation and returned to the game he loves. In 2024, Parker made history as the first NCAA Division I baseball player to compete with a prosthetic leg, inspiring millions with his determination, faith, and positive outlook.

Today, Parker shares his story with audiences across the country, speaking on resilience, leadership, overcoming adversity, and finding purpose through life’s challenges. His powerful message encourages individuals and organizations to embrace obstacles, pursue their goals, and adopt a “Why Not You?” mindset in the face of adversity.
