Prepare for the AHCA/NCAL Quality Award Submissions with Workshop Series

NCHCFA has partnered with Health Care Association of Michigan (HCAM) and other state affiliates to offer an AHCA/NCAL Quality Award Submissions Workshop Series to help you get recognized in your journey towards performance excellence.

The AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program is based on the core values and criteria of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. Member centers may apply for three progressive levels of awards:

  • Level 1: Bronze – Commitment to Quality: The goal of this award level is to provide applicants with the tools and resources they need to achieve performance improvement.
  • Level 2: Silver – Achievement in Quality: At this level, applicants continue to learn and develop effective approaches that help improve performance and health care outcomes.
  • Level 3: Gold – Excellence in Quality: At this level, applicants must show superior performance in areas of the criteria including leadership, strategic planning, and customer and staff satisfaction.

These workshops will help you better understand how to complete the application from beginning to end with coaching support along the way from our expert trainers. The dates and times for the workshops* are:

  • Gold Workshops: August 7, 14, 21, and September 4 (all at 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.)
  • Silver Workshops: August 8, 13, 20, and September 3 (all at 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.)
  • Bronze Workshops: November 4 and 13 (both at 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.)
