Agenda

10:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Restorative Nursing and Respiratory Therapy

Nursing has always been a primary component to care provided in the post-acute setting, but now more than ever nursing services have moved to the forefront under the Payment Driven Payment Model reimbursement system.  Register and attend your district meeting to discuss two important nursing services, Restorative Nursing and Respiratory Therapy and how they not only play a pivotal role in improving or maintaining resident outcomes (as well as reducing medical risk factors and hospitalizations) but also how these services impact the case mix index and reimbursement under the new payment model.

In this session we will discuss how to develop an effective Restorative Nursing Program or re-vitalize your existing program to fit today’s reimbursement model and ways to capture respiratory care provided by the nursing staff.

12:00 PM – 12:30 PM – Lunch
