NC CareGivers Offering Free Leadership and Culture Change Webinars

Are you partnering with the NC CareGivers Program to add at least 4,000 new Nurse Aides to work in Skilled Nursing Facilities by February 2024? If so, are you taking advantage of the opportunity to attend/view free one-hour webinars that will assist you in your day-to-day operation? The topics and information are not only appropriate for you but your staff as well. Can you think of anyone who would not benefit from topics such as: Introducing and Sustaining Organizational Change, Building on Trust, Why Compassionate Leadership Matters, Accountability Through Candid Conversations, Provide Meaningful Appreciation and The Power of Encouragement to name just a few? These webinars help foster exemplary leadership and address recruitment and retention issues through culture-driven strategies. Wouldn’t you like additional tools to improve the working environment for you and your staff? Wouldn’t you like to improve the living environment for your residents and family?   

“Prior to attending the “Accountability Through Candid Conversations” webinar, I had found myself and team struggling with several of the topics discussed throughout the session. I felt that this session came at the perfect time, it brought attention to conversations I was avoiding that were necessary for our team to grow. Throughout the session, I was able to see and hear from other administrators with similar challenges at their own locations, this created a sense of community and understanding. After the webinar, I was able to communicate openly with my own supervisor about some of the challenges I was facing. We had our own “candid conversation” that inevitably led to more open communication between myself and team at the facility. Breaking away from normal day-to-day tasks to engage with other healthcare leaders seems to recharge my battery from time-to-time and I encourage everyone to have this same experience!”

We encourage you to go online and sign up for the upcoming training sessions scheduled for the next four months: Action Planning Check-In, Provide Meaningful Appreciation and The Power of Encouragement. Please register for the next series Action Planning Check-In scheduled for October 12th and/or October 19th. If you missed previous sessions, it is not too late you can go to NRC’s landing page and view previous ones twenty-four hours a day.    

Have you taken the opportunity to take the on-demand course- Fearless in the Face of Crisis? This course is available for free to participating NC CareGiver Program Administrators. Successful completion earns you 7 CEUs.
