CMS UPDATE ON PDPM IMPLEMENTATION – CLAIMS AND BILLING MANUAL UPDATES RELEASED

Yesterday, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) posted the long awaited claims processing, benefit policy and entitlement manual updates for Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) implementation.

They are scheduled to go into effect November 5th, 2019.  A summary table is available below.  At this time, a team at the American Health Care Association (AHCA) is reviewing the materials with more detail to follow the member assessment.
