FAIR RENTAL VALUE ANNUAL RATE UPDATES

Each April 1^st, the Fair Rental Value (FRV) rates are updated to reflect a new cost per square foot, location factors, historical cost index and items submitted by providers on Capital Data Surveys (CDS). The CDS is used to report any changes in the number of facility nursing beds and/or renovations done at the facility during the reporting period.

Items submitted on a CDS for the 12 month reporting period ending September 30, 2020 are available for review prior to being incorporated into the April Medicaid rates. These are posted HERE.  Please review the information for your facility on the next few days and repost any discrepancies to Michelle Counts at Michelle.Counts@dhhs.nc.gov.
