WEBCAST FRIDAY, MARCH 13TH WITH STATE SURVEY AGENCY

This Friday, March 13, from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM, NCHCFA will be hosting a webcast with officials from the State Survey Agency (SSA), along with officials from the Office of Emergency Medical Services and the state Division of Public Health.  This is a follow-on Webcast from the event last week that focused on emergency preparedness and response.  The focus of this week’s Webcast will be on regulatory matters.  The SSA will provide an overview of the transmittals from CMS to date—both in the information they included regarding nursing facilities and the information regarding surveys, including temporary suspension for investigation of some complaint types and a reprioritization of other survey work.

In order to give presenters from the various state agencies time to prepare for questions, we ask that participants who have questions please submit those questions in advance to Karen Lennon (KarenL@nchcfa.org) by 11am on Thursday, March 12th.
