The webinar objective is to assist facilities with getting back to basics on Root Cause Analysis (RCA), how to write a thorough Plan of Corrections, and to get a better understanding of Past Noncompliance.  

  • The RCA process provides a way to identify breakdowns or gaps in processes and systems that contribute to events and assists to prevent future events.  
  • Plan of Corrections describes the actions the facility will take to correct deficiencies and by which those deficiencies will be corrected.  
  • Past noncompliance refers to situations where the facility has taken corrective actions prior to the survey and fully correct the noncompliance as soon as possible and prior to the start of the survey.  

The primary goal of quality improvement is to effect sustained improvement in resident care.   

The cost is $60 for members and $180 for nonmembers.
