Join NCHCFA for a Reimbursement Issues Discussion and Action Planning Webinar presented by Becky Hewitt, Senior Reimbursement Specialist, Hall Smith Booth, P.C., on July 11 at 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  

Providers will inevitably be facing new challenges in 2023 as the Public Health Emergency waivers have ended and Medicaid Unwinding is already underway. Becky, with Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS), will invite attendees to openly discuss specific reimbursement issues they are experiencing and together we will develop proactive action plans to avoid financial disasters. HBS will deliver insight on reimbursement topics including timely Medicaid application and eligibility, Medicaid Managed Care claims payment, and private billing practices. HBS will educate providers on Federal and State Medicaid policies and best practices to avoid denials, increase cash velocity, and ensure claims are paid timely. HBS will also provide practical and legal strategies for providers to prevent and/or work through Medicaid appeals, Guardianship, and discharge for non-payment. Participants will become a skilled resource not only for their company, but for residents and family members as well.
