NCHCFA Institute for LTC Leaders

Members of the NCHCFA Institute for LTC Leaders Class of 2026
The NCHCFA Institute for LTC Leaders is a signature leadership development initiative of the North Carolina Health Care Facilities Association (NCHCFA), designed to provide an intensive and interactive experience for emerging leaders within the Association and the state’s long term care profession. The Institute equips participants with both the knowledge and inspiration needed to strengthen their leadership capacity and elevate the quality of care and organizational performance in their respective settings.
Patterned after the American Health Care Association’s Future Leaders program, the Institute selects an exclusive cohort of NCHCFA-member professionals based on demonstrated leadership potential, active engagement with the Association, and a commitment to advancing their professional growth. The year-long curriculum combines leadership theory with practical application, beginning with a two-day immersive symposium. Participants engage in structured leadership training, goal-setting, and an in-depth orientation to the work of NCHCFA. Throughout the program, participants receive curated leadership reading materials, interact with NCHCFA Board members and staff, and take part in ongoing professional development opportunities. The program culminates in a graduation ceremony at the Annual Convention & Expo, where participants have the opportunity to present to the broader membership.
The annual application period opens in January and closes in mid-March. A link to the application will be added when it’s available.
