Workforce Coalition Pushes for a Nurse STEM Designation

AHCA/NCAL and NCHCFA are among a workforce-related coalition of industry organizations, prominent universities, esteemed nursing leaders, and dedicated nursing educators who are advocating for the inclusion of Nursing as a STEM designated field by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).  This designation would help increase the number of nurses by leveraging federal funds for recruitment programs and impacting current immigration classifications.
