State Health Talent Alliance Going Strong

This month marks the one-year anniversary of the NC Health Talent Alliance’s first Talent Pipeline Management pilot program which launched in Wilmington last fall. The public-private partnership is working to aggressively tackle the state’s critical health workforce shortages.

NC Chamber Foundation Director of Workforce Competitiveness Vincent Ginski stated the alliance’s goal, “remains simple, but bold: We aim to eliminate talent shortages in one of the state’s bedrock economic sectors and create sustainable talent pipelines directly responsive to health care employers’ most critical needs.”

A recent grant awarded to the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce Foundation from the Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina Foundation will support the program’s continued expansion.
