New Population Change Analysis (2010-2045) Available on NCHCFA’s Workforce Resources Website  

A population change analysis for 2010-2045 summarizes population estimates at the state and county levels. This is now available on NCHCFA’s Workforce Resources website.  

This tool highlights projected population changes in North Carolina from 2010 through 2045, with five-year increments showing both total growth and shifts across age groups.  It is intended to help providers identify long-term trends, especially the change in the 85+ population, and anticipate future demand for nursing facility services and workforce.
