NC Direct Care Worker / DSP Wage and Rate Analysis Provider Survey and Trainings  

NCHCFA supports and encourages participation in the following wage and rate analysis project.  

The Provider Survey for NC Direct Care Worker/DSP Wage and Rate Analysis is now live. The North Carolina Center on the Workforce for Health recently launched the survey as part of the NC Direct Care Worker Wage and Rate Analysis.  

In recognition of NC’s current direct care workforce crisis, the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) partnered with the NC Center on the Workforce for Health and its vendor, Guidehouse, to conduct a comprehensive analysis of NC’s direct care workforce and related service delivery landscape.

  • Two options: full survey and abbreviated HCBS survey for providers with limited administrative capacity. 
• Provider participation is critical to ensure the analysis captures the full cost of delivering services and reflects the workforce realities and challenges providers face throughout the state. Provider-identifying information will only be submitted to Guidehouse and will remain confidential. 
• The survey closes on Friday, August 28 at 5:00 p.m. 
• Providers can also access the survey templates and additional information on the NC Direct Care Worker Wage & Rate Analysis website.  

Upcoming Trainings on the Survey  

Guidehouse, in partnership with NCHCFA, is offering the following upcoming survey trainings. All training is voluntary.  

• NCHCFA/Nursing Facility-Specific Survey Training 
  • Wednesday, August 12 at 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
