National Activity Professionals Week is January 19 – 25. The NC Activity Professionals Association (NCAPA) encourages LTC Administrators to recognize and celebrate the tireless efforts of Activity Professionals and Life Enrichment staff who strive to improve the quality of life of people served in their communities.   

“These staff often get overlooked as communities focus more on the staff providing medical care to their people,” said Barbara Hearne, President of the NC Activity Professionals Association (NCAPA). “Yet Activity Professionals and Life Enrichment staff are the heart and spirit of facilities as they bring meaningful and fun activities that brighten the lives of the people served and the entire staff.”   

Be sure to acknowledge your Activity Professionals and Life Enrichment staff and the tremendous influence they have within LTC communities.
