Help AHCA/NCAL With Their #ProgressParade Campaign

AHCA NCAL

Help AHCA/NCAL with their #ProgressParade campaign by planning a Progress Parade that celebrates your residents’ rehabilitation milestones and post it on social media using #ProgressParade. Your parade will be featured on AHCA/NCAL’s social media channels.

The Progress Parade is a heartwarming, social media grassroots initiative that celebrates residents’ rehabilitation milestones—big or small—with joyful, personalized recognition. Whether someone takes their first steps after surgery, finishes a physical therapy program, or hits a personal goal, we honor that achievement with a mini “parade” moment that builds pride, dignity, and community. If the resident does not want to participate in a parade, then taking a picture is a great way to recognize their achievement.

The purpose of The Progress Parade is to:

  • Uplift and motivate residents during their rehabilitation journey
  • Build a culture of recognition and encouragement
  • Engage families, staff, and the broader community in resident progress
  • Demonstrate to members of the public and policymakers the high-quality, life-affirming care that nursing homes provide

Recovery isn’t easy and every step forward deserves recognition. The Progress Parade helps bring that recognition to life in a meaningful, visible way that motivates not only the honoree but also those around them. It is for nursing home residents in any stage of physical, occupational, or emotional rehabilitation as well as staff, family members, volunteers, and fellow residents who want to celebrate these moments.
