Free NCLIFTSS PASRR Provider Training Offered on August 25

NCLIFTSS (Linking Individuals and Families for Long-term Services and Supports) is offering free PASRR training on August 25 at 10:00 a.m. 

Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) training covers the federally mandated process for identifying individuals with serious mental illness or intellectual/developmental disabilities before nursing home admission. Training ensures these individuals receive proper placement and specialized services. It is typically required for hospital discharge planners, nursing facility staff, and state evaluators.  

Amee Hurlocker, PASRR Program Manager for NCLIFTSS, will cover the following topics during the training:  

• PASRR Overview 
• NCLIFTSS PASRR Process 
• Level II Evaluations 
• Required Documentation 
• Recommendations, Determinations, and Notifications 

The training will end with a question-and-answer session.
