Clif Notes: Important AHCA/NCAL Leadership Update

I would like to share two announcements with you all this morning ahead of sending out a formal press release.   

First, Martin Allen has let us know he would like to retire this year. Martin has been with us for the past two years. He joined us after he thought he retired from one of our members after a long and successful career. Martin has been a great addition to our team, and I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate his leadership over these past years. Martin has agreed to stay on for a bit longer to help with the transition to a new leader of the Reimbursement Policy team.     

Second, I am excited to welcome John Kane to our team starting today as our new Senior Vice President for Reimbursement Policy. John brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the long term care sector. John comes to us to from CMS, where he served as an expert on SNF program and policy issues for more than a decade. John lives in Frederick, Maryland with his wife and their two children.
