Applications are now open for the NCHCFA 2027 Institute for Long Term Care (LTC) Leaders, an engaging leadership development experience designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders within North Carolina’s long-term care profession. The application deadline is Friday, March 13, and interested NCHCFA members are encouraged to apply early.

The program offers an intensive, interactive opportunity for emerging leaders to gain knowledge, inspiration, and practical tools to elevate their leadership skills and strengthen the quality of care across the profession.

Modeled after the American Health Care Association’s Future Leaders program, the Institute selects a small cohort of NCHCFA-member professionals who demonstrate strong leadership potential, commitment to the Association, and a desire for continued professional growth. The year-long program begins with an interactive two-day symposium focused on leadership theory, goal planning, and practical skill development, along with an in-depth orientation to NCHCFA. Participants receive curated leadership resources, ongoing engagement with Association staff, and the opportunity to build lasting professional connections, culminating in graduation at the Annual Convention & Expo.
