District Meetings

NCHCFA District Meetings sponsored by NIVA Health by are a new member-only benefit for 2026.
Not-for-profit organizations, especially trade associations, rely on the active engagement of their members to move important initiatives forward. One of the most meaningful ways to get involved right now is by participating in NCHCFA’s District Meetings focused on workforce pipeline development.
These meetings are designed to bring members together with key partners—such as NCWorks, NC HOSA, community colleges, and apprenticeship programs—to identify practical solutions and build stronger local pipelines into long-term care careers.
Participation in these meetings offers a valuable opportunity to:
- Connect with organizations that can support your recruitment efforts
- Share challenges and learn from peers across your district
- Play an active role in shaping workforce solutions in your community
District meetings will be held throughout the year across all regions of the state, with at least two meetings per district annually. Attendance is open to representatives from NCHCFA member facilities in good standing, and sessions are designed to be interactive, practical, and locally focused.
Your involvement is critical—these meetings are not just informational, but an opportunity to help drive real change in building a stronger workforce for long-term care.
These meetings are from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and include lunch. Our goal is to host at least two meetings per district each year so all members can participate.
