Spotlight on NCHCFA Fall Symposium Educational Sessions
We will be featuring educational sessions from the NCHCFA Annual Fall Symposium on September 8 – 10 at Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms, SC leading up to the event.

On September 10 at 8:15 a.m., join us for a new session. Michael Bassett, AHCA’s Senior Vice President of Government Relations, will give An Update from AHCA. He will address nationwide topics that are key to the success and sustainability of long-term care providers.

Up next, Jenipher Cornelius, Principal Consultant at Crescenta Summit Consulting, will present Coaching for Performance and Morale on at 9:00 a.m. Jenipher’s session will help you discover how to coach employees to their full potential. This can help with boosting job satisfaction and reducing turnover in a high-stress environment.

Closing out Fall Symposium is Amy Miller, AHCA’s Director of Clinical and Regulatory Services. She will present Clarity in Quality: Reducing Confusion to Improve Outcomes. Not sure where to begin with Five-Star? Amy’s session will discuss the various CMS quality programs and describe how the overall rating and Quality Measure Domain are determined for the Five-Star Quality Rating System. Attendees will leave with three action steps to improve quality measure outcomes.
