Logo

The NCHCFA 2026 Institute for Long Term Care (LTC) Leaders is now accepting applications for its new class. The deadline is Friday, March 14.

The NCHCFA Institute for LTC Leaders is an effort by NCHCFA to provide an intensive, interactive experience that provides emerging leaders within NCHCFA and the profession with information and inspiration to bring their leadership skills to new levels of quality.

NCHCFA’s Institute for LTC Leaders program’s goal is to develop leaders within the Association and North Carolina’s long term care profession. The program is patterned after the American Health Care Association’s Future Leaders, with an exclusive group of NCHCFA-member professionals chosen for their demonstrated leadership skills, support of the Association, and an interest in pursuing leadership pathways to improve their personal and professional skills.

The program’s curriculum includes education on leadership theory and practical applications of the material. Beginning with an informative and interactive two-day symposium, participants undergo leadership training, learn goal planning, and receive an in-depth orientation to the Association. Participants will receive complimentary reading materials to help instill leadership qualities and will have the opportunity to meet with NCHCFA Board of Directors members and staff throughout the year-long program. Members will participate in a class graduation event at the Annual Convention & Expo and can present to NCHCFA membership.
