| PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE |
|
There has been no time in recent memory that state and national elections have been more important. The best way to make sure our voices are heard is by supporting NCHCFA’s Political Action Committee (PAC). Political Action Committees are the most effective way to join forces with one message in support of our state’s elected officials. Political campaigns have become increasingly expensive and candidates must rely on contributions from individuals and PACs. Decisions made by members of the General Assembly have tremendous impact on the daily operations of a skilled nursing facility. They make critical decisions about the challenges facing long term care providers every day such as Medicaid funding, health planning and certificate of need, health care workforce issues, medical malpractice reforms, among others. It is essential that our PAC support the individuals who share our views. We need help from everyone – at all levels – so that we can be an effective public policy voice for ensuring North Carolina has a comprehensive, adequately funded long term health care system. Let’s send a powerful message of unity on behalf of our state’s skilled nursing community. Make a contribution today. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. You can visit our Web site at http://www.nursinghomesnc.com and click on “Donate to NCHCFA/PAC” (top right corner) to make an on-line contribution or click on the following link: http://nursinghnc.webfactional.com/donate-to-nchcfapac. To mail a donation, click here to download and print a PAC contribution form. Please mail your contributions to: NCHCFA/PAC You may also contribute and show your support by joining your friends and colleagues at the NCHCFA/PAC First Annual Pinehurst Autumn Classic in September! See registration details below. Together we CAN make a difference! We gratefully acknowledge our 2011-12 contributors. Please click here to see the list. Add your name to the list today! We need you! Make plans today to join your friends and colleagues in beautiful Pinehurst, North Carolina, on September 12th and 13th for the NCHCFA’s first annual “Pinehurst Autumn Classic” being held at the world famous Pine Needles Lodge and Resort. The event will begin on Wednesday evening with a reception, dinner and program, “An Analysis: 56 Days to Election 2012”.
