Nursing Home Assessment Provider Portal Upgrade

The platform supporting the Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) portal for healthcare assessments (also known as provider bed taxes) has been in place for more than 18 years. NC Medicaid launched a replacement platform on June 3.   

• The new platform will require authorized providers to login using their NCID from the North Carolina Identity Management System. 
• The new platform will require providers to enter the same data elements and check information to calculate and submit the monthly self-remittance of the healthcare assessment payment to the Office of the Controller at NCDHHS. 
• All historical user data, prior assessments, contact and login information will be transferred to the new portal.
